About this website

This is our public Canadian website. You can send customer and franchise inquiries to our team using the online forms or the email contacts provided. The sections below describe the website features currently enabled.

Contacting our team

We ask for your name, email and message, plus a bakery and topic or proposed Canadian city and province, to route and answer your inquiry. The required consent box is unticked. Your optional answer about how you found us helps us understand inquiry sources. Sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.

Customer inquiries go to our customer support team; franchise inquiries go to our franchise team. Please avoid payment-card details, identity documents and sensitive health information. Children should ask a parent or guardian to contact us, without sending the child’s personal information.

Service providers and international processing

Cloudflare hosts and protects our website. When you send an online inquiry, Resend receives your name, email address and inquiry content to deliver the message to the relevant team. Your email address is used for replies through our business email systems. Resend states that its stored email data is in the United States. Hosting, delivery and email services may process information outside Canada, where local laws may allow access by authorities.

Resend privacy information

Providers receive the information necessary to deliver, secure and operate these services. When enabled for public forms, Cloudflare Turnstile processes connection information to verify requests. External social, press and directions links take you to services with their own privacy practices.

Retention and safeguards

Inquiry messages are retained in our team’s email systems for responding, follow-up and necessary business or legal records. Provider delivery records and backups may have different retention periods. We review deletion requests in light of those purposes and any applicable retention obligations; withdrawing consent cannot recall an email already delivered.

The website CRM is disabled and does not store inquiry messages. Inquiry email copies and provider delivery records are separate from the website database and may have different retention periods.

Inquiry request-limit records contain a keyed security hash, a counter and expiry time, rather than your message or a raw IP address. They become eligible for deletion after about 20 minutes and are removed during subsequent requests.

HTTPS, server-held credentials, input validation and request limits help protect submissions. Hosting and security providers receive connection information to operate and protect the service. No online service can promise absolute security.

Cookies and information on your device

Essential security cookies may be used to operate and protect this website. Saved privacy choices are valid for up to 180 days, so you do not have to choose on every page. Browser values may remain until replaced or cleared. This preference contains only the optional map and photo choice, the optional anonymous-statistics choice, a version and a save time; it is not a visitor identifier. An earlier saved map choice does not enable optional statistics; these require a new explicit choice.

Optional map access is off until you choose Accept optional or enable it in Cookie settings. Rejecting it leaves the bakery directory and inquiries available. You can change or withdraw this choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal stops future map requests; it cannot undo requests already sent.

This website has no advertising pixels or analytics cookies. We do not store inquiry drafts in browser storage. If your browser blocks preference storage, your choice works for the current page session and may need to be repeated on your next visit.

Music preferences

Music volume, mute and pause preferences are saved only in this tab’s session storage and stay on your device. With optional statistics permission, pausing the song also sends an anonymous count for the page language. Your stored music preferences are not sent. You can pause or mute the song at any time. Browser autoplay rules may require you to choose Play first.

Interactive bakery map

If you enable the optional map, your browser requests tiles from OpenStreetMap when the map is visible. OpenStreetMap receives your IP address, browser headers and site referrer. The map does not request precise device location. The directory is available without this external service.

About Google bakery photos

If enabled, Google selects the lead photo for each verified bakery listing. It may show a product or interior rather than the storefront.

Google photos and the interactive map load only after you allow optional maps and photos and the relevant card or map becomes visible. Google receives your IP address, browser information and site referrer. Withdrawing this permission stops future requests and removes Google cards; it cannot undo requests already sent.

Website analytics and inquiry sources

We count eligible arrivals to public website pages to understand which pages and broad sources bring visits. These are arrival counts, not counts of unique people. The server briefly examines request information, including referral or campaign clues and browser headers, to choose a broad category and filter some automated requests. Source classifications and automated-request filtering can be incomplete. These counts do not use analytics cookies and are independent of your optional map and photo choices. They are also independent of the separate optional engagement-statistics choice described below.

The website analytics database stores daily aggregate counts by public landing page, broad channel and source category, and classification basis. It does not store full request URLs, query values, raw referrers, IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, visitor identifiers or individual arrival rows. Hosting and security services still receive connection information to provide and protect the service.

Daily analytics counts become eligible for deletion 90 days after the start of their UTC day. Expired counts are excluded from reports and removed during scheduled or dashboard cleanup; deletion can follow the expiry time. Provider logs and backups may have different retention periods.

The website CRM and automatic inquiry-source storage are currently disabled. Your optional answer about how you found us is included in your inquiry email. We do not require optional source profiling to answer an inquiry, and sending an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.

Anonymous language and song-pause statistics

Optional engagement statistics count language choices and song pauses only after you allow them in Cookie settings. These are event counts, not counts of unique people. Rejecting or withdrawing this separate choice stops future optional counts; it cannot undo counts already sent. Essential features, the bakery directory and inquiries remain available.

For these statistics, the website database stores only daily aggregate totals by UTC day, language and event name, together with an expiry time. It does not store visitor identifiers, IP addresses, raw request information or individual event rows. Hosting and security providers still receive connection information to provide and protect the service.

Optional daily event totals become eligible for deletion 90 days after the start of their UTC day. Expired totals are excluded from reports and removed during scheduled or dashboard cleanup; deletion can follow the expiry time. Provider logs and backups may have different retention periods.

Your rights and concerns

Contact our privacy team to request access or correction, withdraw permission for further follow-up, request deletion, or raise a privacy complaint. We may ask for proportionate information to confirm your identity. Please do not send identity documents unless our team has agreed a secure method.

Withdrawal may prevent us from continuing to answer your inquiry. Some records may need to be retained for legal or business obligations. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain the reason and the applicable complaint route. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the relevant provincial privacy authority.

Accessibility and alternate formats

Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move through controls, Enter or Space to activate them, and Escape to close the navigation and language menus. Skip to content and Skip to music controls links are available at the beginning of the page. Keyboard focus is visible.

Pause animation stops the site’s motion. Reduced-motion and data-saving preferences start animated media with still images. Music has separate pause, mute and volume controls. The full bakery directory is available alongside the optional map.

We are improving access using WCAG 2.2 AA as a design and testing target. This statement is not a certification of complete conformance. Visual descriptions are available for the silent mini episodes. The song transcript is automated and its wording is being reviewed.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier or need information in another format, email our customer support team with the page, the issue and your preferred contact method. Please share only the information needed to assist you.
